Eggstravaganza!

Egg-stravaganza is a fun-filled event celebrating the Eastern-European art of pysanky.  This centuries old folk art utilizes a wax-resist process using colorful dyes and beeswax to create eggs covered with intricate designs.  Start a new tradition in your family by learning this wonderful craft from experts who will be offering hands-on lessons, with all supplies, during Egg-stravaganza.

The Egg-stravaganza will be held in April 8 beginning at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  There will be Lenten lunch items available as well as baked goods.  In addition, the bookstore will have a wide variety of terrific Easter gift items and Pysanky kits, tools, dyes and books.

Pre-registration for the Pysanky classes is highly recommended.  Please call -721-0280 or email asorthodox@snet.net to register.  Classes are $25 per person and last approximately 2 1/2 hours.
